Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Quebec, Quebec. Completed plans call for the construction of a 186,000-square-foot, six-story above grade, two-story below grade, 180-unit educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Reference number: 20065595 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2025-05-12 The project involves the construction of a building comprising 180 housing units, on six above-ground floors. More specifically, the typologies are 150 studios, 15 one-bedroom apartments and 15 two-bedroom apartments. The building also includes extensive student living spaces, collectively known as the Centre de la vie étudiante (CVE), which occupy most of the first floor. These include open-access work spaces, a communal area opening onto an atrium, a multi-purpose room and a café. The lower levels house various technical spaces, storage areas and access to the service and pedestrian tunnels. Unless otherwise agreed by the PARTIES in accordance with the Contract, the Work shall be performed in accordance with the following Schedule: Work shall commence upon Award of Contract. The Certificate of Acceptance with Reservation for the Works shall be issued no later than July 9, 2027. The Unconditional Acceptance Certificate must be issued no later than October 9, 2027.
