Site work and paving for a road / highway in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Thornbury Township Board of Supervisors will accept bids for the 2025 road repair project. The contract for the project generally involves the labor, materials, services, and equipment necessary for pavement milling, base course repair, and pavement resurfacing on segments of S. Westbourne Rd., W. Deer Pointe Rd., Deer Pointe Rd., Beech Ln., and Crow's Nest Cir. Bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount is required. PA prevailing wage rates are applicable. PA Act 127 (Public Works Verification Act) requirements are applicable. The selected bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Workman Comp Insurance Certification. It is anticipated that the contract shall be awarded during the May 20, 2025 Board of Supervisors Meeting. Contract time is 60 calendar days from Issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Thornbury Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and, in general, to make awards in any manner deemed to be in the project's best interest.
