Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marion Heights, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of June 25, 2025, per owner, all bids have been rejected, and the project is currently rebidding. Contract: To Furnish and place approximately; 129 Ton Asphalt Wearing Course; 386 Ton Asphalt Binder Course; 1,427 SY Geotextile; 428 Ton A Subbase; 4 Ea Inlet; 300 LF 12 PE Pipe; 24SY Trench Asphalt Restoration and perform 477 CY Excavation and 1 Set Grade Adjustment Inlet. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workers compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. Prevailing Wage Rates shall be paid on the project. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Marion Heights Borough. Marion Heights Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. AH work is to be completed before October 15, 2025 or liquidated damages will be assessed at the rate of $975 per additional working day.
