**As of July 24, 2025, the project was awarded to Southern Concrete Construction Company, with an awarded amount of $4,249,258.09.** The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed Fishpond Drain Culvert Replacements as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of the removal of existing drainage structures at 10 locations throughout the City. The structures are to be replaced with concrete box culverts of various sizes ranging from double 10ft by 4ft to single 10ft. by 4ft. Any Contractor submitting a bid must be a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor. License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope. No bid will be opened unless the license number is clearly shown. See Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Engineer. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Office of the Engineer. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner.
