Laurel St The existing courts on the site will be demolished by the Town to allow for the construction. The project will include installation of 1" stone and 2" asphalt, 10' vinyl fence, court surfacing, and posts with nets. Additionally, the Town is requesting repair to a court located at Saul Alexander Park, 615 S Laurel St. See Appendix 1 for photos of area to be repaired. Shatton@summervillesc.gov General Requirements - Contractors License Required - Installation Required - Insurance Required - License Required - Warranty Information Required Project Scope and Deliverables The scope of the project includes, but may not be limited to: o Install one inch of stone and two inches of asphalt o Furnish and install approximately 476 linear feet of 10' vinyl fence, 1 3/4 " mesh, 9 gauge. Terminal posts will be 3" OD SS20, line posts will be 2 1/2 " OD SS20, with 1 5/8" OD top Rail and bottom tension wire. Corner gateposts will be braced will center rail. Four 4' x 7' gates will be furnished and installed. o Furnish and apply a Nova Sports USA all-weather surface system or comparable substitute, consisting of two (2) applications of Nova Surface and two applications of Nova combination. The resurfacer and paint should be applied at .10 gallon/square yard rate. Colors will be selected by the Town. o Line the courts for doubles play and juniors in accordance with the US Tennis Association Guidelines using textured white acrylic line paint. o Furnish and install 3" OD heavy- duty galvanized steel net posts with external-wind reel and center strap anchors. Posts to have chip-resistant enamel paint, set in ground sleeves within a concrete foundation. Install court master royale vinyl headband nets with center straps or comparable substitution. o Repair any damages to the sidewalk, parking lot, or lights from construction. o Clean site of all debris created from the construction process. o Submit for zoning and development permits through the Town of Summerville.
