Renovation of a municipal facility in Warrington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Work under the contract consists of the removal and replacement of the existing windows at the BCWSA Main Office, located at 1275 Almshouse Road, Warrington, PA 18976. The office building is owned by BCWSA. The general extent of the Work for the contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: The removal and regulated disposal of the existing windows; and the installation of new windows at the locations of all removed existing windows, all as noted or as shown on the Project Plans and as described in the Project Manual. Work is bid and awarded under a unit price contract, Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to the Authority along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance and bonds for Performance, Payment, and Maintenance in such form as meets the approval of the Authority and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by the Authority. Questions will be received on PennBid(TM) only until Friday, May 9, 2025, at 5:00 P.M. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as amended and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, and weekly certified payrolls will be required attesting to this. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids. BCWSA reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, to waive any informality in the bids or to make an award to such Bidder who, in the judgment of the Authority, makes the most advantageous bid. Additionally, BCWSA requires Contractor Responsibility Certification, through PennBid, due on or before May 9, 2025. Determination will be returned no later than May 13, 2025.
