The project involves rehabilitation of approximately 19,535 LF of existing 6" thru 10" sanitary sewer by pipe bursting, approximately 305 LF of existing 6" sanitary sewer by open cut, approximately 725 LF of existing 6" thru 8" sanitary sewer by cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner, clean and televise of approximately 9,760 LF of existing 6" thru 10" sanitary sewer, manhole rehabilitation, service reconnections, and all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required for the project. This project also includes one (1) Add Alternate. Add Alternate No. 1 involves rehabilitation of approximately 1,225 LF of existing 8" sanitary sewer by pipe bursting. The construction covered by the contract documents shall commence within ten (10) days after written Notice to Proceed shall have been given by Engineer and be completed within 300 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed The prospective bidders are advised to visit the project sites prior to bidding QUESTIONS Submit questions regarding bidding documents to the Engineer. Inquiries are permitted until the deadline as indicated in the Notice to Bidders. Necessary replies will be issued to bidders of record as addenda, which become a part of the bidding documents. Oral instructions do not form a part of the bidding documents. Bidders should contact the Engineer not less than 48 hours before bid opening to secure any addenda that may affect bidding.
