Village of Libertyville (Owner) invites sealed Bidders' Proposals for the Work described in detail in the Contract and generally described as follows: 2025 PATH REPLACEMENT PROJECT. Each Bidder's Proposal shall be accompanied by a security deposit of at least ten percent (10%) of the Bidder's Price Proposal in the form of a Bid Bond. The Work to be performed under this contract will generally be associated with the removal and replacement of asphalt pavement on an existing recreational path in the Village of Libertyville. Below is a summary of items that are anticipated to be performed by the contractor. Please note that some of these items will have assigned unit prices and some will be incidental to the contract: Full depth removal and disposal of existing asphalt pavement (2.5" typical depth and varies) approximately 890 sq yd, Aggregate Base Repair (as-needed basis only - includes removal/disposal of existing unsuitable aggregate base or subbase material), Repave with HMA N50 to generally match existing (2.5" typical), Root Barrier Installation, Landscape restoration along pavement replacement limit, Landscape restoration as needed at construction access location.
