OPWDD is soliciting quotes from responsible and qualified MWBE, SDVOB or NYS small business contractors to provide exterior painting service to Sunmount DDSO, 1 Red Pine. This procurement opportunity is limited to New York State Small Businesses, New York State businesses certified pursuant to Articles 15-A and 17-B of the New York State Executive Law - Empire State Development Corporation Certified Minority or Woman Owned business (MWBE) or New York State Office of General Services Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) only. Please provide a copy of your firm's certification documents when submitting a quote. DESCRIPTION: The Vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work. Work is to be completed within 30 days of receiving Authorized Purchase Order, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works Project and prevailing wages are to be paid and Certified Payrolls must be submitted at time of completion. Site must be clean, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of work, but before removal of equipment, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with point of contact and project supervisor Max Gerstenberger. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Scrape loose paint and pressure wash exterior of house and shed. 2. Prepare the exterior of house and shed for painting including repairs, replacement and caulking (siding, shakes) 3. Paint exterior of house and shed, first with primer and then 2 coats of exterior paint. Color to be decided by OPWDD staff. 4. All metal exterior doors of House 1 will be primed (1 coat) and painted (2 coats) including metal frame. 5. All work is to be performed by OSHA standards. 6. All paint debris must be cleaned up by Contractor 7. A Site Visit is Mandatory. 8. Project is in a secure area; escort will be provided by DDSO.
