OPWDD's Contract Management Unit for Sunmount DDSOO is soliciting sealed bids from responsible and qualified contractors to perform AC Condenser Replacement for RIT Program Building located at 2445 State Route 30, Tupper Lake, NY 12986. Question Deadline 9/17/2025 Questions that are emailed must be submitted via email address to eny.nyc.li.contracthub@opwdd.ny.gov, and should reference the IFB title name and number in the subject line of the email. Official Responses to Questions By 23 September 2025. Pursuant to its discretionary authority under Article 15-A and 17-B of the New York State Executive Law and State Finance Law section 160(8) - Empire State Development Corporation certified Minority or Woman Owned Business (MWBE), New York State Office of General Services Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB), or New York State Small Businesses only. Please provide a copy of your firm's certification documents when submitting a quote. State Finance Law 160 (8), defines the terms "small business concern" or "small business" as meaning a business which is resident in New York state, independently owned and operated, not dominant in its field, and employs one hundred or less persons. References, experience, financial resources, and applicable insurances are required. OPWDD may request bidders to submit at least three (3) references (Name, Title, Phone Number, and Email Address) associated with three (3) different projects (OGS, public, or private sector) of similar scope and size to the one identified in this RFQ that can provide evidence of the Contractor having experience in related work. The contractor will be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and ordinances. Contractor and its subcontractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and submit their Certificate of Contractor Registration at the time of the bid submission for any Article 8 project. Contract term: 2025 Estimated budget: $50,000 to $500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Scope of Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Upgrade the A/C unit condenser at the RIT 1 Program Building as per the provided specifications. 2. The Contractor will be responsible for the proper removal and disposal of all construction debris, waste and material in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations. 3. The Contractor will remove existing ACCU-1 and associated refrigerant piping from AHU-1. 4. The Contractor will remove existing DX coil. 5. The Contractor will remove, in its entirety, the existing concrete pad. 6. The Contractor will provide a new 6" concrete pad in accordance with the provided specifications. 7. The Contractor will provide and install a new DX coil (Direct Coil 4DX-04-37.5-10-62.0-19). 8. The Contractor will provide and install a new outdoor condensing unit (AAON Model CFA-030-CA-8-LA00N). 9. The Contractor will provide a new chain link fence enclosure in accordance with the provided specifications
