Estimated project cost is $2,204,587. The Work of the Project consists of all labor, material, equipment, and services to perform all selective demolition and construction required by the Contract Documents, including but not limited to Re-roofing of multiple buildings at McFarland Junior High School, McFarland High School, and McFarland Learning Center. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in cash, a certified or cashier’s check, or bid bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the total bid price payable to the Owner. The Construction Agreement and the form of the Payment and Performance Bonds which the successful bidder as Contractor will be required to execute are included in the Contract Documents and should be carefully examined by the bidder. The Payment Bond shall be in an amount not less than 100 percent of the amount of the contract in accordance with Civil Code section 9554. The successful bidder as Contractor will also be required to furnish a separate Performance Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount. Sufficient bonds shall be fully executed and returned to Owner with the executed Construction Agreement. PROJECT SCHEDULE: .1 Anticipated Award Date: May 20, 2025.
