The Laclede County R-1 School District is requesting sealed bids for the installation of an RMI liquid (or approved equal product) applied roof system for areas at the high school and elementary school, as well as for asphalt rehabilitation for various school parking lots. The roof system is to carry a 10-year manufacturer's warranty. Bidding contractors will need to demonstrate with their bid, through included bid submittals, their qualifications to obtain a warranty from RMI (or approved equal product) and a letter qualifying that the installer has been installing this product on roofs for a minimum of 10 years. A mandatory site visit is required to bid. The contractor shall remain solely responsible for the installation procedures set by the roof system's warranty. The elementary roof section is 17,629 sq ft, the high school roof section is 26,686 sq ft and the bus barn shed roof is 929 sq ft. The asphalt rehabilitation will include front parking and entrance dri ves (approx . 103,262 sq ft), the driveway to the elementary school (approx. 15,284 sq ft), as well as the elementary parking lot (approx. 39,656 sq ft). Prospective bidders to quote each section independently. All work is to be performed during summer break and completed PRIOR to school starting in August 2025.
