Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Brooks, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The wastewater treatment system services the entire population of the City of Brooks. Based on a wastewater treatment assessment completed in 2014, and the Wastewater Treatment Planning Study completed in 2020, the treatment system does not have sufficient capacity to meet current wastewater generation. This project will include the design and construction of a new wastewater treatment facility. TIMELINE: Project has been allocated $200,000 in the 2025 budget plan. Timelines for design and construction to be defined.
