Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Asphalt Rehab London Bridge Beach and Cypress New Parking Lot/street Widening This project consists of a Base Bid which includes the Contractor to supply and install approximately 6,500 square yards of 2 Thick Hot Mix Asphalt concrete at London Bridge Beach parking lot along with re-installing eleven (11) concrete water valves and one (1) wastewater concrete manhole. Additionally, approximately 6,000 square yards of 2 thick Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete at Cypress parking lot with street widening. Subgrade preparation, aggregate base course, asphalt concrete removal at both sites will be done by Lake Havasu City. Any damage to the existing concrete islands during paving activities shall be repaired by the Contractor and will be considered incidental to the project. The contractor will be responsible for scheduling this project with the City Representative in a time frame not to exceed 15 calendar days. Work will require the contractor to provide the necessary labor; supervision; final grading, supply, hauling, installation of all necessary materials and other related materials; mobilization; demobilization; tools and equipment; insurance and Workers' Compensation as required for saw cutting as specified in this ITB. Any asphalt work that is deemed unacceptable by the City Representative shall be removed and replaced at the contractors expense. It is anticipated that this work will begin May 2025. It shall be understood that Lake Havasu City is under no obligation to award the project. QUESTIONS: All questions that arise relating to this solicitation shall be directed in writing to purchasing@lhcaz.gov. To be considered, written inquiries shall be received at the above-referenced email address by May 12, 2025, 3:00 p.m. Arizona Time. Inquiries received will then be answered in an Addendum. The contractor must supply the Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete and concrete for water valves/manholes collars for this project. London Bridge Beach will have half of the parking lot closed at a time to complete work. BONDS: Bid Bond: 10% Labor and Material Bond: 100% Faithful Performance Bond: 100% Project Completion Date: 15 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Work must be completed and invoiced by June 30, 2025 Lake Havasu City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part thereof and waive informalities deemed in the best interest of the City
