As of October 9, 2025, a prospective developer has been selected. Contract negotiations are in progress and a timeline for developer award has not been determined. It is estimated construction will start in August 2026 with a grand opening in 4th quarter 2027. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Tarpon Springs, Florida (“City”) and its CRA Board (also referenced herein as “the board”) is requesting responses to this Invitation to Negotiate (“ITN”), seeking a creative, qualified firm to acquire the CRA-owned property and develop the site with mixed uses including retail/restaurant/residential/office uses. The City intends to select a single firm with demonstrated expertise in providing similar services to those requested herein. Questions Due Date: May 9th 2025, 5:00 PM EDT The date of the CRA presentations , to October 7, 2025, @ 6:00 pm in City Hall Auditorium. The order of presentations will stay the same.
