Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of streetscape improvements including sidewalk, lighting, landscape paving and related improvements to the area surrounding the intersection of Taylor Avenue (State Highway 71) and Main Street as reflected in the contract documents. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid band in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable unconditionally to the Borough of Manasquan, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for the full amount of the bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and that said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment. Bond in amounts of 100% of successful bidder's contract. The Award of the contract for this project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided to the Owner in a lawful manner. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bides or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner, except as to those items which are deemed mandatory and non-waivable as set forth in N.1.S.A 40A:11-23.2. Further, the Owner reserves the right to abandon the project and reject the bids entirely if any legal or state of federal administrative action is taken against the Owner which could delay or jeopardize the project from commencing.
