Renovation of a medical facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Brooklyn Children Psychiatric Center Boiler Replacement and Installation DASNY is soliciting bids from Single Mechanical Contractor for the following Scope of Work to be performed at Brooklyn Children Psychiatric Center. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the replacement of the boilers and associated pumps, controls. Scope includes furnishing and maintaining temporarily boilers. The estimated construction cost range is between $2,700,000.00 and $3,000,000. The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York has determined that its interest in obtaining the best work at the lowest possible price, preventing favoritism, fraud and corruption, and other considerations such as the impact of delay, the possibility of cost savings advantages and any local history of labor unrest are best met by use of a Project Labor Agreement ("PLA") on this Project. The successful low bidder, as a condition of being awarded this Contract, will be required to execute the PLA described in the Information for Bidders and included in the Contract Documents. See Section 18.0 of the Information for Bidders of the Contract Documents for additional information. All subcontractors of every tier will be required to agree to be bound by the PLA. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 8% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 8% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 3% Contract term: June 30, 2026 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
