Site work for a civil project in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Washington State Department of Transportation Ferries Division, operating as Washington State Ferries (hereinafter called "WSF"), issues this notice of Invitation For Bids (IFB) for the following described project: The Contract work consists of the following repairs to the Issaquah Class ferry M.V. Kitsap: USCG U/W hull and internal inspections, anode inspection, gauge vessel steel, anode renewals, 100% topside washdown, prepare and paint topside, No. 1 and No. 2 End rudder inspection, No. 1 and No. 2 End propeller inspection, No. 1 and No. 2 End inner shaft seal element, replacement. No. I and No. 2 End outer seal element replacement, sewer pipe water jetting, sprinkler pipe water jetting, Controllable pitch propeller Nol End piping replacement and other miscellaneous work as required and other related maintenance work as specified in the IFB Technical Specifications. s. The vessel has a Length: 328' 2", Beam: 78' 8", Draft: 16'6", Displacement: 3,310 LT. The Kitsap carries 124 vehicles and 1,216 passengers. All of the work must be performed within Puget Sound, Washington during the period of September 8 - October 31, 2025. Bidders must be prequalified by WSF in Class 82 work, "Vessel Drydocking & Hull Repairs" prior to the bid due date. Certified state Public Works Small Business Enterprise (PWSBE) and certified Veteran Owned Businesses (VOBs) and Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (MWBEs) are encouraged to participate in the IFB process. Sealed bids, together with the required bid security should be mailed to the attention of the Contracts & Legal Services Department at the address specified below.
