Reference Number 0000292479 Pricing Lump sum .1 This Section includes the following: The extent of demolition work outlined in this scope includes the removal of existing doors, frames, screens, and overhead transom windows; the overhead rolling shutter; concrete masonry partitions; upper and lower cabinets and shelving units; the existing sink fixture; suspended fluorescent lighting; and wall-mounted murals. The scope also includes the removal of all floor finishes throughout the indicated rooms and the demolition of a 12" wide trench in the concrete slab to access buried sanitary piping. Additional work includes the removal of a damaged concrete curb and associated debris. .2 Drawings contain details that suggest directions for solving some of the major demolition and removal requirements for this project; Contractor is required to develop these details further by submitting a demolition plan prepared by a professional engineer employed by the Contractor. Each bidding General Contractor shall submit, and enclose with its Tender, a Bid Bond issued by an approved Surety Company, authorized to transact the business of suretyship in the Province of Ontario, in favour of the Owner, in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Stipulated Sum Tendered together with an original Agreement to Bond or consent of surety, issued by the same Surety 23.5.1 Performance Bond: 50% of the Stipulated Sum Contract. 23.5.2 Labour and Material Payment Bond: 50% of the Stipulated Sum Contract.
