Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Dwight, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.
This project is subject to the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act. Construct 60' ft x 140' ft post-frame building with full interior buildout and exterior utilities along with all appurtenances. The Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid and be payable to the order of the Village of Dwight. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The following items listed provide a breakdown on constructing a timber column structure complete as shown on the Drawings and described in the documents herein. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing the items required under the Base Bid and all materials necessary to properly install such equipment. 1. Timber Column Structure -Complete construction of a 60' x 140' x 18' (truss bearing height) timber column structure. This shall include, but not necessarily be limited to the following: a. Building Framing: (Pre-manufactured or treated lower column post, 3-ply treated upper column post, wood truss system, roof purlins, wall girts, baseboard, headers, furring, and miscellaneous framing.) b. Pre-Finished Metals: Roofpanels, siding, and wainscot, interior liner panels (ceiling and walls) garage and mezzanine only, soffit, metal trims, and gutter and downspouts. c. Insulation: Attic/ceiling fiberglass batt and all exterior wall fiberglass batt. d. Finished concrete floors throughout building (office area and garage). Garage floors shall receive a lithium-based concrete densifier. Office area shall receive epoxy coating. e. Interior 2-hour fire-rated separation wall floor to bottom of ceiling framing. Wall shall be finished, taped and painted. f. All exterior metal man-doors and three (3) overhead garage doors; one (1) interior 2- hour rated interior door, (1) 1-hour rated interior door, interior metal doors and viewing window g. Twelve (12) steel guard posts for interior and exteriorjamb protection at overhead doors. h. Underfloor and above-floor plumbing which includes: 1) All building waste piping and related vent piping as required to complete an approved system. Extend waste piping twenty (20) feet minimum beyond exterior wall for service connection. Contractor to provide connection per Village requirements. 2) Cold water service line with strainer, meter and RPZ (double check valve). Extend twenty (20) feet minimum beyond exterior wall for service connection. Contractor to provide service connection per Village requirements. 3) Pre-sloped garage trench drain system as shown on the Drawings. 4) Three (3) compartment oil separator and related venting as required. Waste piping shall be completed and connected correctly to building drain system as indicated on Drawings. 5) Hot and cold water interior piping, water heater, plumbing fixtures. 6) All indicated floor drains and cleanouts. i. Electrical system: full electrical service, distribution panel, branch circuits, switches, controls, and outlets. j. Lighting system: complete lighting system as indicated on the Drawings. k. HVAC system: complete ventilation and conditioning system as indicated on the Drawings, including equipment, ductwork, grilles, thermostats, and infrared radiant heating. l. Exterior insulated windows.
