Town Rejected all bids This project work consists of an addition connecting the existing Dawson Elementary School to the existing modular classrooms building. General Project Information: The project will include new concrete foundations and interior ADA ramp, new wood framed and insulated exterior walls with interior gypsum board and exterior plywood type sheathing, new wood framed roof structure with insulated membrane roofing, flashings, air barriers, hand rails and other required materials to complete the new connector building between the modular classrooms and the main school building. All Bids shall be submitted accompanied by a certified check made payable to the Town of Holden or a bid bond for 5% of total price proposal as bid security. One hundred-percent (100%) Payment Bonds and Performance Bonds are required upon entering a contract with the Town, if the price proposal is greater than $150,000. The Bidder must be DCAMM Certified in General Construction Event Bid Description: Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Dawson Modular Connector (DPW 25-5)". The Town Manager reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive informalities in the bidding procedures, or to accept the proposal deemed in the best interest of the Town of Holden. The Bidder agrees to commence work on or before the date specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" issued by the Town of Holden and to substantially complete the project no later than August 20, 2025.
