This is a NOTICE for 75H701-25-R-00052 Life Safety Updates at Kyle, Wanblee, LaCreek a ion project prepared in accordance with FAR Part 36. These ion services are in support of the Indian Health Service (IHS). SCOPE OF WORK: This procurement is for the replacement and upgrading of various life safety and infrastructure issues at the Kyle Health Center in Kyle, SD, the Wanblee Health Center in Wanblee, SD, and the LaCreek Clinic in Martin, SD. During the FY23 facility condition assessment, several life safety concerns were documented, along with some infrastructure needs. The identified issues include a. Upgrades to exit signs and removal of emergency lighting are needed. b. There is inadequate lighting on life safety circuits. c. The electrical devices are outdated and insufficient. d. Fire extinguisher cabinets are mounted too high. e. electrical upgrades need to be addressed. f. The doors are damaged and need repair. g. Decommissioning of fire and smoke dampers. h. Generator and ATS installation. None of these issues pose an immediate threat to accreditation. Additionally, the contractor is to install all products according to the manufacturer's specifications.
