Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Princeton, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Awarded Contractor shall be required to submit Performance and Payment Bonds as well as a Certificate of Insurance with the City of Princeton named as an additional insured. Knob Street Playground Basketball Court Fencing Remove all loose debris, litter, trash, refuse, overgrowth, etc. from court area. 2. Dispose of all debris and materials in a safe and acceptable manner. 3. Back fill all disturbed areas as may be necessary to restore and to match to original grade. 4. Rake area smooth, seed with lawn grass, and mulch with straw. 5. All work to be done under the jurisdiction of the Recreation Director and Public Works Directors. 6. Provide all materials and labor to install chain link fencing around the Knob Street Basketball Courts to include the following: A. 9 gauge 2 inch wire for all. B. 3 inch schedule 40 corner, terminal, and gate posts. C. 1 5/8 inch schedule 40 top and bottom rails for 6 foot fence. D. 1 5/8 inch schedule 40 top, bottom, and middle rails for 12 foot fence. E. All posts 10 foot or less apart. F. All posts set in 28-30 inches in concrete. G. All line posts are to be 2 1/2 inch schedule 40 posts. H. All fencing around the courts (paved area) is to be 6 foot tall. The 4 sections behind the 4 basketball goals are to be 12 foot tall by 20 foot long backstops. I. 1 - 6 foot tall x 4 foot wide walk through gate / 2 inch frame. J.. 2 - 6 foot tall x 5 foot wide double drive through gates, PROVIDING A 10 FOOT OPENING / 2 inch frame. K. There is approximately 450 linear feet of perimeter fencing. L. All current existing fencing and gates will be removed, and disposed of, by the Princeton Public Works Department, after the Notice to Proceed The Princeton Parks and Recreation Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any and All Bids, Waive Any Informality in the Bidding Process and Accept the Bid That is in the Best Interests of the Parks and Recreation Department.
