Proposer is responsible for providing all materials, containers, labor, materials, transportation, and other required services to complete the Scope of Work as specified. Proposer shall provide any and all services related to PFAS contamination cleaning of ARFF vehicles, treating, storing, and disposing of waste fluid and material, as well as collection, treatment, storage, and disposal of AFFF. Generalized tasks to be performed include mobilization and demobilization activities; rinsing ARFF vehicles to determine base contamination level; using a cleaning process to decontaminate vehicle; replacing hoses and equipment as necessary if unable to clean; coordination of pre- and post sampling of ARFF vehicles to determine when clean status is achieved; coordination of collection of AFFF; and proper treatment, storage, and disposal of AFFF and PFAS contaminated fluids and material generated through the cleaning process. Specific tasks include: The Proposer shall drain and collect the existing AFFF from the following ARFF apparatus. All draining activities must be conducted in a manner that ensures full containment and collection of AFFF to prevent environmental release. The proposal must detail the methods and equipment to be used for the collection process. The Proposer may transport the apparatus off-site to perform this work, if preferred. Labor costs will be paid by unit and AFFF disposal and provisioning will be paid by unit. Any spills that occur during the removal, handling, or transport of AFFF must be cleaned immediately and to the satisfaction of the Authority.
