Description

Site work for a municipal facility in Woodland, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

The County of Yolo is requesting proposals from entities (Proposers) experienced in landfill gas (LFG) and biogas utilization project development, for the design, permitting, construction, financing, owning, and operating of a LFG beneficial use facility (Project) at the Yolo County Central Landfill (YCCL or Site). The Project will accept, upgrade and transform LFG and biogas produced by the landfill and In-Vessel Digester (IVD) at the YCCL in Yolo County, CA. The scope of work is outlined in Section I.D of this RFP. This RFP provides a basic description of the landfill and IVD, LFG and biogas generation information, historic gas quality, existing infrastructure, the scope of work and proposed partnership framework for the Project, evaluation criteria, and the structure and requirements for Project proposal submission. RFP schedule, communication, and procurement information is provided in Section II. RFP Schedule of Events. The County anticipates awarding a Biogas Development Project Agreement to the successful proposer by January 2026. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
