Allegany College of Maryland proposes to provide and install a new dust collection system in our WMW building's wood shop. After removal of the existing system, a new dust collection system will be installed by the selected contractor. This process will include all general construction required to install this system, wiring, ductwork, creating a concrete pad for the external unit to sit on, etc. Allegany College invites interested contractors submit a bid. Removal of the existing Grade-mounted RTU and turn over to the Owner. The Contractor will need to move the unit to a place determined by the College within the confines of the subject property. Demolish all existing return air ductwork and supply air ductwork as necessary to accommodate the new Dedicated Outdoor Air Unit (DOAU-1). Patch the exterior wall to match adjacent material and finishes. 2. Furnish and install a new dust collection ductwork exhaust system from the existing wood working equipment to a new Enclosure-less Dust Collector. The College will provide final connections of the equipment to the dust collection exhaust system and necessary source enclosures for proper capture of the saw-dust and wood shavings. NOTE - the College will install the weather protection shed-roof over the new dust collector. 3. Furnish and install a new concrete pad for the mounting of the new Dust Collector. 4. Furnish and install a spark detection system with automatic activation of a duct mounted extinguishing system connected to the building sprinkler system. 5. Furnish and install a new duct mounted magnet with clean out. 6. Furnish and install new power wiring for all electrically powered equipment. 7. Furnish and install new natural gas piping for the new DOAU-1
