Work shall not commence earlier than 7:00 am nor extend beyond 7:00 pm without the express approval of the Village Manager, Village Street Department Superintendent, or their designee. No work shall be performed on Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays unless authorized by the Village Manager, Village Street Department Superintendent, or their designee. All Waste material generated by the Contractor's staff shall be removed daily from the work site and the area left clean and clearly marked with appropriate safety signage/barricades/etc. Upon completion of work. After daily work is completed, weekends, and holidays all road areas must be left in drivable and safely passable condition. Square yardage amounts are estimated. Verification for bid purposes and lump sum price is the responsibility of the bidder. Contractor shall perform work in a manner to protect the health and safety of all workmen and the public All work shall be in accordance with standard industry safety practices and in compliance with all current OSHA standards. The Contractor shall warrant all work to be free of defects for a period of one (1 ) year from final acceptance. Traffic Control shall be the responsibility of the contractor. All flagging or traffic control will be done by trained flaggers. The Contractor shall furnish all tools, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive minor irregularities in any bid proposal. The Village further reserves the right to request clarification of information submitted, and to request additional information from any bidder. The Contractor is responsible for keeping all records of hours worked, vehicles used, and materials used, and submitting a record of the same in a timely manner to the Village of East Palestine, for payment. The Contractor shall take necessary measures to preserve public and private property, including paving and lawns outside the required excavation lines, adjacent to the property. The Contractor shall be responsible for damages to public and private property, whether caused by himself, his or her subcontractors, or as a result of negligent construction methods. Contractor shall provide restoration of damaged property to its original condition, or better, at no additional cost to the Village of East Palestine, its residents, or affected parties. If the Contractor fails to restore such property, the Village of East Palestine may, upon 48-hours notice, have property restored at the Contractor's Expense. The Village of E.
