Site work for a water / sewer project in Tallulah, Louisiana. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Tallulah, Louisiana must address issues with its oxidation pond connected with its Wastewater Treatment Plant on an expedited basis. The City's pond liner must be repaired in accordance with DEQ's compliance order The project requires engineering services to specify and plan the removal of the existing liner and replace it with a new liner, and other improvements at the sewer treatment plant in conjunction therewith. The pond itself is 17 acres, 300 feet wide and 600 feet long and up to 28feet deep. Questions should be directed to Yvonne Lewis, City of Tallulah - ylewis@tallulah-la.gov or at (phone). The project requires a swiftturn around. An engineering firm will have only one week after selection to submit a Severity Package due by May 22,2025. The selected engineering firm would be responsible for: 1)Submitting the LCDBG Severity Package by May 22, 2025; 2)Designing the project should a grant be awarded; and 3) Submit the full LCDBG application package due December 15,2025 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
