As of May 21, 2025, this project has been put on hold. Adams County Health Department - Restroom and Clinical Space Remodel Adams County Health Department seeks bids from a general contractor for the remodeling of spaces within the existing building at330 Vermont, Quincy, IL 62301 as follows:Separate existing lower level men's restroom into two rooms,compliant with ADA and Illinois law. The first room shall remain a public restroom, the second room shall become a private lab restroom. This space shall utilize available existing space, fixtures and materials where possible.Conversion of existing storage into a functional laboratory room, to include installation of a door and a solid wall with a pass-through to a private lab restroom.Build out of office space in an existing unfinished storage area.Utilization of existing plumbing, electrical and HVAC where available.Construction of intake/medical station in existing clinical hallway. Contractor must secure all subcontracts directly, including any required architectural design past basic design provided in bid packet. Construction must be completed by August 1, 2025.
