Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Saint-Lambert, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a educational facility; multi-residential development; for site work for a educational facility; and multi-residential development.
Development of the City Longue-Rive Sector also known as Pointe de Longueuil. The site in question with a total area of 2.5 million square feet is located between the St. Lawrence River and Route 132. According to the City, it is one of the "last strategic sites available" in Longueuil. The planned development program provides for the construction of a nearly 5,000 housing units, including 1,000 affordable ones, as well as a school. Riverfront access, a waterfront promenade, and numerous public spaces will also be developed. TIMELINE: The project is preliminary. The project participants have signed a memorandum of understanding for the site use and organized several design workshops that helped to refine the vision for the Pointe de Longueuil project. These workshops were organized in collaboration with municipal teams and development professionals. The development agreement is expected to be signed within a few months. Note. Final scope of work, budget and timelines of the project development are being finalized.
