Furnish and Install various rehabilitation materials and labor to include: new vinyl siding and appurtenances to encompass the existing exterior house, ten (10) new vinyl replacement windows, new exterior front door, repair and replace sewer line on the floor at the base of the basement stairs, secure hand rails and replace lattice on both front and back decks, paint existing front and back porch, and repair stairs in basement to extend to the floor. Additionally, the Base Bid will also require new smoke & carbon monoxide detectors along with lead hazard, asbestos, and radon rehabilitation work items. MWBEs and Section 3 contractors are encouraged to apply. The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to lead certifications. Time for Performance. The Contractor shall commence performance of the improvements as described in the Work Write-Up/Scope of Work within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a fully executed Notice to Proceed Order, and all work to be performed by the Contractor shall be completed within [set project timeline] calendar days thereafter. No charge for any extra work or material will be allowed unless the same has been ordered and approved by the Participant and the LPA on a formal Change Order. Any additional work for which the Participant(s) wishes to retain the Contractor that goes beyond the improvements described in the Work Write-Up/Scope of Work must be subject to a separate agreement between the Participant and the Contractor.
