The Public Works Contractor Registration Act was amended in June, 2003. After this date every contractor who enters into a contract with the Township, which is subject to the provisions of the "NJ Prevailing Wage Act" and any subcontractor or lower tier subcontractor of a contractor, must have a registration certificate issued by the NJ Department of Labor. The intent of this specification is for the Township of Wyckoff to obtain a competitive bid from a responsive and responsible contractor to perform the described work below: o Supply and install approximately 10,727 tons of (I-5) hot mix asphalt (HMA) on Township of Wyckoff roads. o Supply and install approximately 1,850 square yards of roadway base repair- 6 inches dense grade aggregate (DGA) stone sub-base- 4 inches (I-2) hot mix stabilized base asphalt (if and where directed by the DPM). o Milling of approximately 55,096 square yards of the Township of Wyckoff roads. o Reset approximately 43 utility holes located on Township of Wyckoff roads. The quantities listed are provided as estimates for the work to be performed. The Township of Wyckoff reserves the right to increase and decrease the quantities listed as needed to provide the highest quality finished product. However, experience shows that the amount ordered may differ from that submitted for bidding. The right is reserved to decrease or increase the quantities specified in the specifications pursuant to N.J.A.C. 5:30-11.2 and 11.10. The work described in this specification shall begin once the contract is signed and a preconstruction meeting is conducted. All work must be completed entirely on or before Friday, August 22, 2025 Each proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and shall be addressed to the TOWNSHIP CLERK'S OFFICE and delivered at the place and hour mentioned above.
