sealed bids will be received by the Bayshore Regional Sewerage Authority (hereinafter called the "Owner") for:CONTRACT 25-003 DISPOSAL OF GRIT & SCREENINGS FOR A TWO (2) YEAR PERIOD Submissions must be in SEALED ENVELOPES clearly marked "BID" on the EXTERIOR ENVELOPE for the above-named Contract. The scope of work includes the furnishing of all equipment,mobilization/demobilization, weighing, use of containers, labor, materials, transportation, hauling, unloading, and services necessary to complete the removal and disposal of grit and screenings at the Owner's Main Pump Station. All work will take place at the Owner's Treatment Plant Facility at 100 Oak Street, Union Beach,Monmouth County, New Jersey, 07735. All inquiries for clarification of any matters concerning the Contract Documents shall be made in writing to the above address and must be received at least SEVEN (7)business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. For other inquires contact Thomas Petti, P.E., Principal Engineer at 732-739-1095. One (1) original and one (1) copy of bid proposal documents are to be submitted. No bid will be accepted by the Owner unless the bidder provides it in writing and on the forms furnished herein, and unless accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or a certified check made payable to the Bayshore Regional Sewerage Authority in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, but not exceeding $20,000. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or irregularities in bids received as permitted by the NJ Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq.). After receipt of bids, no bid shall be withdrawn except as expressly authorized herein. The Owner shall award the Contract or reject all bids within sixty (60) days of the bid opening, except the bids of anybidders who consent thereto, at the request of the Owner, be held for consideration for such longer period as may be agreed.
