Renovation of a mixed-use development in Carmel, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and municipal facility.

Contract No. 3-Plumbing Construction: The Town of Kent Community Center and Town Hall Annex renovations include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: bathroom fixtures, kitchen fixtures, sanitary piping, domestic water piping, and hot water heaters. Additive Bid No. 2: Add/Deduct Unit price cost for the repair of the existing brick mortar (repointing) greater than or less than the area included in the Base Bid (per square foot of brick mortar repairs). Additive Bid No. 3: Add/Deduct Unit price cost for the masonry reconstruction (removal and replacement) of existing brick greater than or less than the area included in the Base Bid (per square foot of masonry reconstruction). Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percentum (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contracts. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids. In order to perform public work, the successful Bidder and Subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such license(s) and registration(s) as required by state statutes, and federal and local laws and regulations. Bids will not be accepted from Bidder's determined to be a "non-responsible entity" by the New York State Office of General Services in accordance with General Municipal Law 5A-103-B. this project is a "covered project" under New York State Labor Law 220-1, and each bidder must hold a valid certificate of registration from the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) to submit a bid. Each bidder must submit a copy of their NYSDOL certificate of registration with their bid at the time the bid is made. Bidders will need to ensure that each subcontractor working under them holds valid NYSDOL certificate of registration before commencing any work on a covered project. Project Contacts: Zachary D.
