The bidder is advised that due to the limitation of funds, it may be necessary to reduce or increase the scope of work in any and all line items proposed as a part of this contract. Should any such reduction or increase in quantities become necessary, the Contractor will be advised prior to the start of that work. No additional compensation will be due or payable to the Contractor as a result of such reduction in the scope of work; the bid unit prices will be paid for the actual quantities resulting from the City's reduced or increased scope of work. SEE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR ALL DETAILS AND PLAN NOTES DATE SET FOR COMPLETION - Contractor shall begin work after October 1, 2025. All work shall be substantially completed by December 31, 2025, and reach final completion by February 1, 2026. PENALTY - A penalty of $150.00 per calendar day shall apply, if work is not completed and accepted by the established completion date. The City may waive this right if unusual circumstances apply.
