Remove & Replace OGFC Lift on approximately 2 miles of I-220 from the Hinds County Line to near the I-55 Divide Ramp & approximately 9 miles from the merge with I-20 to the Madison County Line, known as Federal Aid Project Nos. IM-0220-03(036) / 109480301 & IM-0220-03(036) / 109480302 in Madison & Hinds Counties. Project Completion : November 28, 2025 Value Estimate Range - $10,000,000 - $15,000,000 For Federal Aid Projects the attention of bidders is directed to the contract provisions governing selection and employment of labor contained in the bid proposal. Minimum wage rates for Federal Aid Projects have been predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and are subject to Public Law 87-581, Work Hours Act of 1962, as set forth in the contract provisions. Unless otherwise set out in the bid proposal, all other projects are subject to the predetermined minimum wage rate set by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Fair Labor Standards Act. When a DBE goal is contained in the contract, the award will be contingent upon the Contractor satisfying the DBE requirements. Bid bond, signed or countersigned by a Mississippi Resident Agent or qualified non-resident agent, with Power of Attorney attached or on file with the Contract Administration Engineer of the Department, a Cashier's Check or Certified Check for five (5%) percent of bid, payable to State of Mississippi, must accompany each proposal. The attention of bidders is directed to the provisions of Subsection 102.07 pertaining to irregular proposals and rejection of bids. MSDOT - Call 09 - Remove & Replace OGFC Lift QA - OGFC shall be replaced on the acceleration and deceleration lanes. The OGFC replacement shall terminate at the pavement change on the ramps. No work will be required at the interchanges outside of the OGFC removal/replacement limits. Yes, mobile operations will be allowed for patching potholes between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM The Contractor shall be responsible for field verification of the pads and shall bid accordingly. The intent is to fill voids. MASH Compliant Devices are required if available. Pads will be replaced in instances when needed to accommodate MASH Compliant Devices. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
