All Contractors are hereby notified that they shall have proper Contractor's licenses as required by the state laws governing their respective trade in the state where this Project is located. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, or by a certified check payable to Davidson County Airport Authority, Lexington, North Carolina, and drawn on some bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of North Carolina, for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. A performance bond and a labor and material payment bond are required. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after the closing time for the receipt of bids. The Davidson County Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all technical defects in the execution of the submission of any bid.
