Davidson County Department of Soil and Water Conservation has identified a need for Stream Debris Removal Services and is seeking a contractor who is prepared to assume the responsibility for providing these services while meeting federal and state guidelines and requirements. Contractors shall provide disaster recovery services including, but not limited to, clean-up, demolition, removal, reduction and disposal of debris in order to eliminate threats to public health and safety. All equipment and supplies required for this service is the responsibility of the contractor. There are approximately 4,000 linear feet of stream to be cleared. There is no guarantee of the amount of stream footage to be cleared. However, this will be the basis of the bid. As a bid alternate an additional amount of up to approximately 2,000 linear feet of stream could be included in the project depending upon the bid price per linear foot. The linear foot is defined as top of stream bank on one side to top of stream bank on the opposite side and then up or downstream 1 foot. An additional amount of up to approximately 2,000 feet of stream could be included in the project depending upon the bid price per linear foot. The Davidson County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and Proposals, and further reserves the right to make the award and/or awards in the best interest of Davidson County. State funds shall be used to fund this project. The close date for questions will be March 14, 2025 at noon.
