Contract: D9-RDE ENV-VEG MGMT-2021 WBS Element: TBD Tip No: N/a Federal Aid No: N/a County: Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Rowan, Stokes Route: Various Description: Roadside Vegetation Management Consisting of Bark Mulch, Sod Seeding, Seeding & Mulching, Landscape Grading, Selective Pruning and Cutting, Skilled Landscape Workers, Commercial Mowing & Trimming Around Plant Beds in the Right-Of-Way Along State Maintained Roads The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for the above subject Contract Proposal. The Contractor is to furnish labor, material, and equipment. The date of availability for this contract is Date of Purchase Order. The completion date for this contract is September 30, 2022, with the option to extend for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each for a maximum period of three (3) years total. The North Carolina Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights of 1964 (78 Stat.252) and the Regulations of the Department of Transportation (49 C.F.R., Part 21), issued pursuant to such act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that the contract entered into pursuant to this notice will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, color, or national origin.
