The PROJECT will be bid as a Base Bid with one (1) Additive Bid as further described below: - Base Bid - The Base Bid work consists of pavement rehabilitation for Runway 7-25 that includes P-401 levelling, runway profile milling, and 6-inch P-501 Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) as detailed in the typical section. This work will also include shoulder grading in the Runway Safety Area, remarking of Runway 7-25, and raising existing runway edge and threshold lights. - Additive Bid #1 - The Additive Bid 1 work consists of the construction of two new helipads and a helipad access road off the existing Taxiway A. This pavement section consists of a 6 inch layer P-501 Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement and a 2-4 inch layer of SC-401 SCDOT Type B Asphalt pavement. Base bid includes pavement rehab on RW 7-25 (5500' x 100') and taxiway connectors. Work includes profile milling and leveling, Portland Cement Concrete overlay, pavement markings, shoulder grading and erosion control and raising RW edge lights. Additive Bid #1 includes new helipads and a helipad access road. Deadline for questions: 05/27/25, 5:00 pm. Bid Bond of 10% required. Bid hold period: 90 days.
