Renovation of a swimming pool in Hope, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
The Fraser Valley Regional District ("FVRD") is requesting contractors with proven capacity, capabilities, and experience to supply replacement of corroded sprinkler piping and heads at the Dan Sharrers Aquatic Centre (DSAC) (the "Services") and to provide a quotation on the form attached at Schedule A (the "Quotation") in response to the following specifications: Removal and proper disposal of existing corroded painted steel piping and affected sprinkler heads located in the natatorium area of the DSAC. Supply and installation of new painted steel piping, sprinkler heads, couplings, and fittings to match the existing system specifications. Work to originate at the sprinkler tree located in the mechanical mezzanine of the natatorium. All work must comply with the BC Fire Code and applicable local safety and building standards. Testing, commissioning, and certification of the completed system. Project must be scheduled and completed during the DSAC's annual shutdown period (mid-August to mid-September).
