Each Bid must be accompanied by bid security payable to Lowhill Township in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Section 10.6. Lowhill Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to accept any Bid which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township. The intent of these specifications is to describe the work necessary to construct the bituminous road surface treatment on Old Village Road. A more detailed listing of the construction requirements is described in the following technical specifications and on the drawings. The Contractor shall supply all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to properly perform the respective items of work. Any apparatus, material and labor not specifically mentioned or shown on the drawings which may be found necessary to complete or perfect any portion of the work in a substantial manner and in compliance with the requirements implied or intended in these specifications shall be furnished by the Contractor without additional compensation. This shall include all materials, devices, and methods peculiar to the apparatus or system furnished and installed by the Contractor.
