Request for Prequalification for Category 1 - General Contractors, Category 2 - Mechanical Sub-Contractors, Category 3 - Electrical and Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Sub-Contractors for the St. George Water Pollution Control Plant Upgrade and Expansion. The County of Brant (County) is seeking to prequalify General Contractors, Mechanical Sub-Contractors, Electrical and Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Sub-Contractors through this Request for Prequalification (RTP). Respondents are required to have related experience working in a wastewater treatment plant with complex construction, mechanical installation of process equipment and electrical installation in a wastewater treatment plant complying with all area classification requirements as required by applicable codes or similar level of complexity to upgrade St. George Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP). Category 1 General Contractor: For the purposes of this letter, the current anticipated total construction cost for the St. Geroge WPCP is approximately CAD $60,000,000 and therefore the letter must confirm bonding capacity in the amount of CAD $30,000,000. Category 2 Mechanical Contractor: For the purposes of this letter, the anticipated total construction cost for the mechanical portion of the project is approximately CAD $30,000,000 and therefore the letter must confirm bonding capacity in the amount of CAD $15,000,000. Category 3 Electrical & Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Contractor: For the purposes of this letter, the anticipated total construction cost for the electrical portion of the project is approximately CAD $1,500,000 and therefore the letter must confirm bonding capacity in the amount of CAD $750,000.
