This information regarding the upcoming tender of the St. George Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades and Expansion is being released to all pre-qualified contractors/trades and is open for viewing to any subtrades/contractors that may wish to participate in this project. The St. George WWTP, constructed in 1989, is an extended aeration nitrication plant with preliminary treatment (pre-treatment), secondary treatment, tertiary ltration, ferric chloride dosing system, and chlorination / dechlorination and has a current average daily flow capacity of 1,300 m3/d and peak daily flow capacity of 3,900 m3/d. The plant is being upgraded for new rated average daily flow capacity of 3,900 m3/d and peak instantaneous flow capacity of 14,820 m3/d. The County has pre-selected a supplier for MBR packaged system. The pre-selected supplier of the MBR equipment is Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions who will be supplying ZW500 EV membranes.
