The Carson High School Complex (Complex) is comprised of the following schools: Carson High STEAM School, Carson High School Musical Entertainment & Digital Arts Magnet (M.E.DI.A), Academies of Education and Empowerment (AEE), Academy of Medical Arts (AMA), and Eagle Tree Continuation High School. The proposed Project consists of new construction, demolition, replacement of relocatable buildings at Eagle Tree Continuation High School, site improvements, and exterior painting of all existing buildings and structures to remain. The Project scope also includes temporary use facilities to support instruction and school operations during construction. Detailed Scope of Work A. New Buildings and Structures 1. 2-Story Administration/Classroom Building containing 30 classrooms, support spaces, and an administrative suite (approximately 52,000 SF) 2. Two (2) new shade structures B. Replacement of Relocatable Buildings at Eagle Tree Continuation High School 1. Seven (7) relocatable buildings containing six (6) general classrooms and an administrative suite C. Demolition and Removal 1. Removal of twenty (20) existing relocatable buildings and two (2) storage buildings 2. Existing site utilities that are no longer required 3. Existing softball field and all associated accessories D. New Softball Field 1. New softball field with natural grass, irrigation, fencing, netting, scoreboard, benches, platform, and other accessories 2. New natural grass with irrigation to extend beyond the outfield, which will be used for physical education E. Exterior Improvements 1. Exterior painting of all existing buildings and structures to remain a. Patching, repairing, or replacement of stucco, wood trim, and fascia, doors, door frames, and any other building elements that are damaged before painting F. Storage Containers 1. Consolidation, relocation, and removal of existing storage containers in the development areas G. Arts and Artifacts 1. Protection and removal of murals 2.
