Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following: DETAILS OF WORK: The Contractor is to repair the McPherson Historic Canopies according to the drawings, specification, and local codes and regulations. The contractor is required to: 1) Provide required permits for the repairs and working access to the site (Historical Alteration Permit is already in place), 2) Provide a traffic plan, a site safety plan, and traffic control for the area during construction, 3) Provide Shoring, if required, for and during the repair process, 4) Supply and install all materials required for the repairs in accordance with the design drawings and the local requirements, 5) Clean the site from all debris and construction material waste during construction, 6) Dispose of all waste materials, including hazardous materials, produced during the restoration process according to local requirements and regulations, Drawing S1 (APPENDIX C) shows the basic layouts of the canopies and the areas requiring repair. The concrete repair specifications and coatings are included in the drawing. The concrete specification (07 18 00 Pedestrian Traffic Coating) is shown in APPENDIX D.
