Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Grand River Township, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed work includes: Construction of a 145.5 foot three-span continuous steel girder bridge, approach roadway work, and any incidental work in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is located on E. 268th Street, in Section 07, Township 44N, Range 31W, Cass County, Missouri, over East Branch South Grand River. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Cass County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 5%.
