Site work and renovation of a civil project in Hanston, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: General: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for the construction/improvements at the wastewater lagoon facility. The general overall project improvements include construction staking, mobilization, erosion control, approximately 12 acres of grass seeding, corrosion resistant liners, telemetry, and all other incidental and appurtenant work required to complete the improvements as shown and specified. Wastewater Lagoon Facility Improvements: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for the wastewater lagoon facility improvements. The improvements include approximately 36,670 cubic yards of common excavation, approximately 30,840 cubic yards of earthwork compaction, 514 linear feet of 8-inch PVC lagoon piping, 114 of 8-inch DIP lagoon piping, 1 Influent Structure, 1,041 square yards of gravel surfacing, 2 Transfer Structures, 2 Distribution Manholes, 3410 square yards of concrete slope erosion protection on Cells 1 and 2; 2254 linear feet of woven wire fencing; trenching; backfilling; over excavation; compaction; concrete work; site grading; gravel surfacing and all other incidental and appurtenant work required to complete the improvements as shown and specified. Wastewater Force Main Improvements: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for the wastewater force main improvements. The improvements include 7,529 linear feet of 4-inch PVC sanitary force main; 100 linear feet of sanitary force main directional drill pipe; 100 linear feet of sanitary force main Auger and Jack Steel Encasement; 3 air release assemblies, and all other incidental and appurtenant work required to complete the improvements as shown and specified. Wastewater Lift Station Improvements: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for construction of the proposed main wastewater lift station and demolition of the existing wastewater treatment plant. The improvements include installing a permanent backup generator for the new lift station; installation of a new submersible packaged lift station and concrete wet well; installation of an influent manhole, metering manhole, plug valve assemblies, 8-inch PVC gravity sewer piping, site earthwork,; electrical site work; piping; by-pass pumping; demolition of the existing wastewater treatment plant, and all other incidental and appurtenant work. Wastewater Gravity Sewer Line Rehabilitation: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for the Wastewater Gravity Sewer Line Rehabilitation. Improvements include 625 LF of Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation-8-inch CIPP; 18,311 LF of Sewer Line Cleaning and Video Inspection; 1,831 LF of Heavy and Mechanical Cleaning and all other incidental and appurtenant work. Alternate No. 1: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for installing 3,410 square yards rock riprap slope erosion protection on the sides of the primary treatment lagoon cells, therefore deleting concrete slope erosion protection. Alternate No. 2: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for installing 3,833 square yards crushed concrete slope erosion protection on the sides of the storage cell. The owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $1,750,000. The Project has an expected duration of 240 calendar days.
