The scope of this project includes the replacement of portions of the building plumbing systems which have now become urgent due to failures, cracked pipes, etc. The scope consists of but is not limited to: - Select sewer line replacement - Domestic hot and cold water is select areas - Backflow preventers and check valves serving select areas - Select sump pumps - Vent lines - Plumbing fixtures in select areas The scope of this project also includes some architectural elements related to floor/wall penetration, patching/painting, asbestos abatement, etc. A bid bond in a commercially reasonable form or an irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a financial institution authorized to conduct business in Canada as a Schedule I or Schedule II chartered bank in the amount of at least 10% of the Bid Price and that shall be in effect until ninety (90) calendar days following Closing Date. AND A surety's consent indicating that, in accordance with section 5.18.1. of this ITT, the surety company will furnish the contract security which shall include a 50% performance bond and a 50% labour and materials payment bond of the Bid Price or a consent from the Schedule I or Schedule II chartered bank that an irrevocable standby letter of credit in the amount of 50% of the Bid Price will be furnished.
