The renovated interior will contain the following career and technical programs: Cosmetology, Automotive, Welding, Machine Tool, and Culinary Art. Addition spaces include a large multipurpose meeting room, administrative offices, and student commons area. A 2,424 SF FEMA storm shelter will be constructed inside the existing building. Bids are invited upon the items and quantities of work as follows:1. Renovation of the existing 79,000 SF box store located at 4415 McMasters Ave into the Hannibal Innovation Campus . Work includes a full renovation of the east building façade, several new openings will be added to the south façade, and minor work to the west and north facades. The existing metal roof will be overlayed with a new membrane roof. Site work includes replacement of the existing asphalt parking lot, new sidewalks, new landscaping, new parking lot lighting, and a new drive lane around the west side of the building. The building renovation work also includes renovating the existing fire sprinkler system, new plumbing, new HVAC systems, and new electrical systems. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Hannibal School District #60 negotiable U.S. Government bonds at par value or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent 5% of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Attention is called to the fact that no less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
